$10 Million Goal
Our mission is to build a $10 million endowment by collecting, investing, and growing funds through halal investment vehicles — preserving principal while seeking modest 5–8% returns to spend on Masjid operations.
Income-Producing Assets
An endowment fund is a pool of money gifted to an institution. The assets — such as mutual funds, rental properties, and investments — generate recurring income that is spent on furthering the mission of ISCJ, while the principal is preserved and grown.
Why It Matters
- Financial strength and long-term self-funding for ISCJ
- Reduced reliance on annual fundraising campaigns
- Ability to cover budget shortfalls without borrowing
- Sustained support for programs and services for future generations
